Talent Lead - Manufacturing & Supply Chain

FluidstackAustin, TX
$170,000 - $250,000

About The Position

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI and is singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. We are looking for people who care deeply about this problem space. The Talent Acquisition Team is working on deploying AI across the entire funnel to find the best people in the world faster, treating talent as the critical path, and building a brand that the best want to join. This role will own hiring strategy, execution, and tracking for Fluidstack's Manufacturing and Supply Chain organization, building the annual delivery plan while staying hands-on closing critical searches. The role involves leading and scaling a talent acquisition function across manufacturing, supply chain, and industrial operations business units, partnering directly with senior hiring managers to forecast headcount, map talent needs, and align hiring strategy to business objectives. Additionally, the role includes building, mentoring, and managing a team of TA Partners, Sourcers, and Coordinators, and designing hiring processes that balance speed with candidate quality. The goal is to drive recruitment for hard-to-fill skilled trades, procurement, and supply chain roles to high offer-acceptance rates, and to own the hiring metrics and recruiting infrastructure that keep the funnel healthy.

Requirements

  • Built and run hiring for manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations orgs in a hyper-growth environment, ramping headcount without dropping the bar.
  • Lead a team and set strategy but stay in the work. Take the hard searches, model great execution, and don't delegate your way out of accountability.
  • Know the difference between competent and exceptional and won't compromise on it, for your team's hires or your own. Every hire raises the average.
  • Build for the year but can lead quick pivots. Anticipate hiring needs and map talent landscapes so your team never starts a critical role from zero.
  • Measure what matters (pipeline conversion, source quality, time-to-hire) and use it to manage performance and make decisions.
  • Give clear, honest feedback and build trust by being straight with your team, not easy on them.

Nice To Haves

  • Recruiting in manufacturing, industrial operations, or supply chain markets.
  • Scaling a TA function through rapid headcount growth.
  • Immigration and global mobility coordination.
