About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating and monitoring company-wide training initiatives, ensuring training records are up-to-date, and communicating training progress. The Talent Development Coordinator will also coordinate and host training events to support the organization's talent development strategies and manage the educational opportunities offered throughout the organization while maintaining training requirements for those programs.

Requirements

Related Associates degree or equivalent combinations of education and experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
A minimum of one year of comparable experience required.
Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

Maintains electronic database of employee trainings and certifications.
Sets up and supports trainings (e.g., Arc Flash, Crane Certifications, Infrared, OSHA).
Enters and maintains records of employee trainings that pertain to certifications/licenses in HRIS, other requested databases, or a Learning Management System (via EIB loads).
Monitors and reports on completed training to coordinate employee training needs.
Contacts employees to receive copies of certifications, track expiration dates, and work with employees on renewing their certifications.
Tracks, maintains, and purchases training materials from outside vendors.
Coordinates, schedules, and oversees in-person and virtual training events.
Coordinates training while it is occurring to help ensure it stays on schedule.
Maintains training materials including binders, kits, jump drives, and discs.
Distributes training to field personnel upon request or as needed.
Registers participants for outside training programs.
