About The Position

Amilia is seeking a Talent & Culture Coordinator for a 12-month contract, covering a maternity leave. This role is crucial for managing the day-to-day employee experience, focusing on the workplace, company events, social involvement, recognition, and internal communications. The coordinator will also support talent acquisition and employer branding, ensuring an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience. This is a full-time, temporary position with potential for extension or transition. Amilia is a growing SaaS platform company in the recreation and activities market, serving over 1,500 organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, administration, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in employee experience, workplace/office management, HR coordination, or events.
  • Proven experience managing a workplace environment, vendor relationships, and budgets.
  • Fully bilingual, French and English (spoken and written).
  • An ownership mindset: you run with things without needing direction.
  • A warm, human-centric approach, and a natural culture ambassador.
  • Excellent organization and judgment, comfortable juggling many priorities at once.
  • Strong communication skills, with a flair for employer brand and internal content.
  • Resourcefulness, curiosity, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Full-cycle recruitment experience and familiarity with ATS tools (Recruitee, LinkedIn) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Own the workplace environment as the go-to contact for all suppliers (building management, coffee, cleaning, food & beverage), managing inventory and orders.
  • Lead company social events end to end (Company Town Hall, 5@7s, End of Year Celebrations) and remote-friendly formats so every Amilian feels included, wherever they are.
  • Own recognition initiatives, volunteering programs, and wellbeing activities that bring people together.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for individual-contributor roles, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers, in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Champion our employer brand through recruitment initiatives, content, and Great Place to Work certification efforts.
  • Deliver a memorable onboarding experience, from welcome package to day-one facilitation, and act as a cultural buddy for new hires.
  • Manage internal communications, including new-hire announcements, office updates, and team news.
  • Own the workplace budget end to end, benchmarking suppliers and finding smart, cost-effective solutions.
  • Keep our common areas welcoming and functional, lead the Health & Safety committee, and continuously look for ways to improve the office experience.
  • Measure the impact of your initiatives and keep evolving them based on what works.
  • Provide ad-hoc support across the company: team-building, Lunch & Learns, client visits, and shipping coordination.
