K2 is seeking a Talent Coordinator to support all K2 clinics out of our facility in Orlando (Maitland), FL. The Talent Coordinator serves as a reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and is committed to maintaining the long-term sustainability of the business. Operating within an environment governed by Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and high regulatory standards, this individual ensures that all work is conducted with strict adherence to quality protocols, ethical integrity, and scientific rigor. As a collaborative member of the team, this individual champions a Quality-Focused philosophy, ensuring that every deliverable meets the highest professional standards. Playing an integral role in daily talent acquisition functions, the Talent Coordinator acts as a key partner to the Director of Talent. The primary focus of this role is to support the full recruitment life cycle by building and administering a robust talent pipeline for K2 clinics across Florida, Tennessee, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. This individual serves as the face of the employer brand for many applicants, ensuring K2 Medical Research maintains a reputation for highly communicative and transparent candidate interactions from the initial application through to the close of requisitions. This position is designed with a clear growth trajectory: as the individual gains experience and mastery of the role, responsibilities will expand to include conducting initial phone screens, presenting top candidates to hiring teams, and co-leading university outreach and career fairs alongside the Director of Talent.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor'sdegree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or HR support roles.
  • Experience in a customer service, healthcare or clinical environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service and candidate engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with both exempt and non-exempt roles in a clinical or healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms, preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADAAA, Title VII, and EEO, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the pipelining of candidates to ensure a ready pool of qualified professionals for all clinical levels, including full-time Research Assistants, Clinical Research Coordinators, and Principal/Sub-Investigators, as well as PRN roles such as Registered Nurses, EMTs, and Firefighters across all K2 clinics.
  • Maintain a high standard of candidate care by consistently communicating application statuses, providing timely updates, and ensuring a seamless experience through to the close of the requisition.
  • Efficiently schedule phone screens and interviews on behalf of the Director of Talent and hiring managers, managing complex calendars and ensuring timely coordination.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, including background checks and employment eligibility verifications, ensuring all employee files are maintained in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Utilize the company's applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS to track applicants, manage talent pipelines, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (including FMLA, ADAAA, Title VII, EEO, etc.), acting with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Future Growth — Conduct initial phone screens, present candidates to hiring teams, coordinate advanced interview stages, and actively participate in planning and supporting career fairs at each clinic location and university outreach initiatives alongside the Director of Talent.
