About The Position

As the Talent Business Partner, you will lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Working closely with business leaders and hiring managers, you will act as a trusted partner to attract, hire, and retain top talent while supporting broader HR initiatives that strengthen our people and culture. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, North America, this role blends strategic partnership with hands-on HR delivery in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Oversee the employee experience for the Montreal office, ensuring alignment with company culture and values. Act as a visible, trusted presence for employees—fostering connection, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance enablement, development planning, and exit processes. Collaborate on HR policies and employee handbook updates, adapting global practices to local requirements. Partner with Payroll, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless HR operations. Support and coordinate U.S. and Canadian immigration and global mobility processes, partnering with internal stakeholders and external immigration counsel to ensure a seamless employee experience and compliance with applicable regulations. Support employee relations, policy interpretation, and disciplinary actions when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; CHRA designation an asset.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition within the tech industry
  • Good understanding of technical roles, skills and terminology
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and innovative sourcing techniques
  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to recruit across diverse departments and fill a wide range of roles
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment team environment
  • Effectively communicates analysis through Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint including high-quality messaging, structure and formatting
  • Solid understanding of Quebec employment law and HR practices.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in HRIS platforms, analytics, and using data to guide people decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative mindset.
  • High degree of self-sufficiency, adaptability, and confidence.
  • Understanding of, and previous experience with, U.S. and/or Canadian immigration and global mobility programs, including coordination of work authorization, visa, and cross-border employee mobility processes.
  • Bilingual in English and French

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute fully comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches.
  • Conduct and facilitate candidate interviews, managing interview schedules with panels
  • Proactively source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other career platforms.
  • Engage with active and passive candidates leveraging innovative approaches to attract top talent
  • Maintain best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, evaluating, and selecting candidates
  • Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and refine processes accordingly
  • Collaborate with department managers to create structured onboarding schedules and robust plans for new hires
  • Support culture and employee engagement initiatives across the company, working to promote a positive environment
