About The Position

The Hylant Internship Program offers a summer journey designed to challenge and inspire interns, paving the way for success in the insurance industry. Interns will join a cohort, gain practical experience, build vital skills, and forge meaningful connections within the insurance industry. This specific internship will support our internal Hylant Talent (Human Resources) department, potentially focusing on Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, or Talent Development. The role involves recruitment support and shaping an exceptional Summer Intern Program experience for the 2027 cohort, including planning and coordinating events, and contributing to internal talent communications. The internship begins part-time in the fall and spring and may continue into the summer, supporting broader Talent initiatives.

Requirements

  • Be of rising junior, senior, or graduate-level standing at an accredited college or university, or have graduated within the past seven months.
  • Maintain an average GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Ability to work from August 2026-May 2027 or later (some flexibility may be offered).
  • Ability to work 25+ hours per week during business hours.
  • Have interest in a long-term career in HR or insurance.
  • Be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
  • Hylant is unable to provide H-1B visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship experience highly preferred.
  • Be involved in extracurricular activities and/or have a part-time job.
  • Major in Marketing, Event Management, Human Resources, or Communications.
  • Some background in Marketing, Event Management, Human Resources, or Communications will help.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring leaders, recruiters, and other interns.
  • Gain practical experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Plan and coordinate engaging events and programming for the 2027 intern cohort.
  • Contribute to internal talent communications.
  • Support broader Talent initiatives.
  • Support the internal Hylant Talent (Human Resources) department.
  • Potentially support Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, or Talent Development.
  • Take on projects that support the team where necessary.
