Overview As a Talent Acquisition Student, you will support the recruitment team with active hiring projects and talent initiatives across the business. You will gain hands on experience in full cycle recruitment, candidate experience, and recruitment operations while working closely with recruiters and hiring managers. Your day will include supporting candidate sourcing, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruitment data, and contributing to employer branding and campus hiring efforts. This role is designed to provide meaningful, practical exposure to real recruitment work and talent strategy, not just administrative support.

Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • You show interest in recruitment, talent strategy, and people operations.
  • You can handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • You are proactive, reliable, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
  • You are eager to learn and contribute through meaningful project-based work.

Responsibilities

  • You will support active recruitment processes by assisting with job postings, resume screening, and candidate shortlisting.
  • You will coordinate interviews and schedule between candidates and hiring managers.
  • You will assist with candidate outreach and talent pipeline building through sourcing and research activities.
  • You will maintain accurate recruitment data in the ATS and tracking tools.
  • You will support employer branding and campus recruitment initiatives and events.
  • You will help prepare recruitment reports, trackers, and hiring updates.
  • You will contribute to improving recruitment templates, processes, and candidate experience touchpoints.
  • You will participate in team meetings and hiring discussions to learn recruitment strategy and workforce planning.
  • You will take ownership of assigned TA projects that add measurable value to the team.
