As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Stay22, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our growth by attracting and hiring exceptional talent. You'll own recruitment initiatives end-to-end, build trusted partnerships with hiring leaders, and bring structure, insight, and momentum to every search. We're looking for someone who combines strong execution with sound judgment, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited to influence how we hire as we continue to scale.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of recruitment experience, including at least 2 years in an in-house Talent Acquisition role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge, advise, and build alignment with hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and proactively building talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with sound judgment and a consultative approach.
  • Comfort working with recruiting metrics and data to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Knowledge of the tech/startup ecosystem and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Proficiency with modern recruiting tools, boolean searches, ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI-powered sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and non technical roles, from intake and sourcing through offer, negotiations and close.
  • Build and execute creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, proactively identifying and engaging top talent across multiple channels.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, align on candidate profiles, influence hiring decisions, and drive hiring outcomes through data and expertise.
  • Create structure and momentum in an evolving environment by managing competing priorities and moving searches forward with high ownership and minimal direction.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring team experience throughout the process, acting as a trusted representative of the Stay22 brand externally and trusted hiring partner and ally internally.
  • Leverage recruiting data, market insights, and hiring metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve processes.
  • Support employer branding initiatives through recruitment marketing, talent community building, content creation, and participation in events.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
