About The Position

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. (E2) is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle hiring for engineering and technical roles. This position plays a critical role in attracting top talent across disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, and project management. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and experienced in sourcing hard-to-fill technical talent in a competitive market. You'll lead us into our next stage of growth and will also be tasked with implementing innovative sourcing strategies and programs aimed at attracting qualified candidates as well as attracting passive prospects. This is a single open position, advertised across multiple locations, but only one candidate will be hired.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant recruiting experience in a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor market trends and sourcing techniques.
  • Successful track record of direct sourcing candidates.
  • Experience using some of the following online tools and platforms: LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed and more.
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills, candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Well-organized, flexible, able to prioritize a diversified workload, be attentive to detail, and accurate.
  • Customer service orientated professional but approachable manner and strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP, and EEO regulations, standard HR practices and procedures.
  • An extremely high sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong computer skills including the MS Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting unionized environments or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with utility roles (electric, gas, water, renewable energy, infrastructure).
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (EEO, OFCCP, affirmative action).
  • Innovative, creative problem-solving mindset, with ability to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-changing and highly collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of iCIMS ATS system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and direct all recruitment efforts and processes including screen, interview, document, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, as required.
  • Source and engage candidates across multiple industries, with a focus on utilities and energy sector talent.
  • Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent by leveraging multiple recruiting resources including networking through industry contacts, association memberships, conferences, recruiting events, virtual career fairs, social media, and our own employees.
  • Manage a consistent, high-volume flow of qualified candidates through active and passive sourcing methods.
  • Be an exceptional leader and have a strong commitment to the collective and individual success of the organization. Demonstrating to candidates a positive reflection of our brand and company.
  • Recruit talent through multiple social media platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable. Set continuous improvement goals.
  • Maintains compliance with EEO and OFCCP regulations.
  • Review applicants, evaluate position requirements, conduct prescreening interviews, assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the candidate profile.
  • Maintain accurate and fully compliant documentation on all candidates search and selection processes within the internal ATS.
  • Document and present detailed progress reports of recruiting campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
  • Train and supervise hiring managers in correct company processes.
  • Assist our social media team with postings and ads various media sources.
  • Create and maintain job description library and database of potential candidates to lower time-to-hire requirements.
  • Adherence to fair employment laws and practices, staying up to date on labor relations and state posting requirements.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Administrative duties, recordkeeping, and other duties as assigned.
