About The Position

Clio is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Go-To-Market (GTM) Talent Acquisition Team. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract position and offers a hybrid work environment, with opportunities in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth, high-velocity environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting (and exceeding) hiring targets, balancing volume, quality, and speed.
  • Data fluency: ability to use metrics and insights to influence decisions, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Consultative mindset: approach recruitment as a strategic partnership with thoughtful problem-solving.
  • Solid grounding in HR best practices, with a commitment to compliance, fairness, and alignment with organizational values.
  • Proficiency across multiple sourcing and attraction channels (inbound, outbound, referrals, events) and ability to build diverse, high-quality pipelines.
  • Experience engaging passive talent, from sourcing to initial outreach through nurturing to hire.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a strong interest in continuously refining recruiting craft, including through AI tools.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in recruiting workflow (e.g., sourcing, outreach personalization, research, note-taking, automation) with sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience championing diversity and inclusion programs or initiatives.
  • Experience working at an agency and in-house tech/SaaS company.
  • Experience with Workday ATS.
  • Experience building or piloting AI-enabled recruiting workflows, prompts, or automations for a TA team.

Responsibilities

  • Own and nurture stakeholder relationships with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) for effective recruitment collaboration.
  • Oversee a robust candidate pipeline and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, primarily for strategic roles in Canada and the U.S.
  • Partner with business leaders to align on hiring strategies, meet quarterly hiring targets, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Explore and implement creative approaches to attract and engage both active and passive candidates.
  • Align candidates with Clio’s mission, values, and vision.
  • Enhance the recruiting function by introducing innovative practices and processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Represent Clio with professionalism, integrity, and authenticity.
