About The Position

CBI Home Health supports people at home and in the community. We are one of Canada’s leading specialized community services, home, and integrated care providers, operating in more than 800 communities across the country. Our teams work together to deliver the right care at the right time, helping people live safely, independently, and with dignity. CBI Home Health is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist based out of our corporate office in Toronto. This temporary full-time 8-month contract role will be a hybrid position and may require travel within Ontario, supporting in-person recruitment and networking events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment
  • University degree is required
  • The ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organization, communication, and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • an HR designation is considered an asset
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry and/or a unionized setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business and HR/TA leadership team to develop regional recruitment strategies and ensure flawless execution with the support of all stakeholders.
  • Plan and lead full life cycle recruiting for roles including Personal Support Worker's, Nurses (RPN's/RN's), and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders and equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to support the hiring process.
  • Provide a consultative approach to talent acquisition - ensure the entire process delivers a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates through effective coaching, planning, communication, and delivery of outcomes.
  • Proactively source talent by leveraging social media and other online networks to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen, interview, and short list candidates for hiring managers and ensure all interviews are scheduled accordingly.
  • Identify, share and implement best practices and trends in talent acquisition.
  • Provide regular reporting and metrics to all appropriate stakeholders.
  • Be a brand ambassador and promote CBI Home Health as an employer of choice.
