About The Position

The Talent Acquisition function at Thornton Tomasetti is a strategic partner to the business, focused on leveraging leading technology and innovative sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent across our global offices. As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you will partner closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs, proactively engage top talent, and deliver a seamless, full-cycle recruitment experience. You will play a key role in shaping diverse, high-performing teams that support the continued growth of our engineering practices. We are a self-sourcing Talent Acquisition team, meaning we don’t rely on agencies—we go out and find the best talent in the market. Using a combination of direct sourcing, data, and AI-enabled tools, we take a proactive, modern approach to hiring that puts candidate experience and quality at the center of everything we do.

Requirements

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition or recruiting (in-house or agency/consultancy)
  • Demonstrated success in direct sourcing and engaging passive talent
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, ideally Workday Recruiting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand hiring goals and workforce planning needs
  • Manage and optimize our applicant tracking system (Workday Recruiting)
  • Leverage CRM tools, automation, and AI through our Phenom platform to build and engage talent pipelines
  • Proactively identify, approach, and engage passive candidates through direct sourcing strategies
  • Own full-cycle requisition management, delivering a seamless and efficient hiring process
  • Provide best-in-class experience for both candidates and hiring managers
  • Lead recruitment efforts across the U.S., including sourcing strategy, interview coordination, and offer management
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to continuously improve processes, systems, and recruiting effectiveness
