Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in house recruiting and conducting the full interview process.
  • Using a variety of research techniques and tools.
  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates required.
  • Display knowledge of multiple recruiting sources (i.e., Indeed, Glassdoor, Craigslist, job fairs, trade schools, colleges, various employment resource centers, etc.) and possess proven sourcing techniques to identify and engage these resources.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Source and qualify candidates and build a robust pipeline for current and future positions.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies focused on driving candidate generation.
  • Facilitate the interview offer process in partnership with Hiring Managers and Human Resources department.
  • Fine-tune standard processes for increased efficiency.
  • Draw on extensive knowledge of talent acquisition and the ability to network with all functional areas of the affordable multifamily housing industry to understand current and future staffing requirements.
  • Generate a high-volume pipeline of candidates under tight timelines to deliver upon both immediate and strategic long-term talent needs.
  • Create and maintain job postings and necessary updates that are needed within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Develop candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment sites, networking, social media, database searches, and referrals within 6 months of hire.
  • Create great candidate experience by conducting thorough interviews to hire the strongest candidates for open roles.
  • Navigate through ATS systems and review, screen and move candidates through the software.
  • Review resumes and conduct phone screens to pre-qualify candidates; conduct in-person interviews to qualified candidates within the framework of the position requirements.
  • Establish effective working relationships and provide customer service to prospective employees throughout the entire recruiting process.
  • Maintain detailed records of recruiting efforts for weekly recruiting meeting and roll up reporting.
  • Effectively manage and be responsible for 30 requisitions.
  • Attend career fairs and find creative ways to source candidates outside of the online applicant pool by creating ideas to attract new candidates.
  • Deliver recruiting process excellence by following internal policies and procedures, accurately tracking candidate and requisition activity, and adhering to all relevant compliance and legal requirements.
  • Multi-task with multiple competing priorities.
  • Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours.
  • Travel as required for in person classes and annual education conferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
