About The Position

Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for their Gulf Coast Village Campus in Cape Coral, FL. This strategic role involves working with Operations, Hiring Managers, and Human Resources to develop, implement, and manage recruitment and staffing initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting talent with careers. Gulf Coast Village is a community of VOANS, a subsidiary of the Volunteers of America parent organization, and is Great Place to Work® Certified. The role is hybrid, requiring an initial period of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote for the first 6 months, transitioning to 2 days on-site and 3 days remote thereafter. The position is described as fast-paced and relationship-driven, offering close partnership with hiring leaders and the ability to influence recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and related recruitment experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of (3) three-years’ experience in healthcare recruitment, talent acquisition or human resources recruitment required.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing platforms, AI sourcing tools, and reporting analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for assigned divisions and sites.
  • Support recruitment efforts for leadership, clinical, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Hiring Managers, Department Leaders, and Human Resources Representatives.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Support a positive candidate experience through proactive follow-up and engagement.
  • Conduct pre-hire and onboarding touchpoints to reduce candidate drop-off and improve retention.
  • Utilize recruitment platforms, AI sourcing tools, social media, referrals, and community partnerships to attract qualified candidates.
  • Follow up with newly hired employees during onboarding and introductory employment periods.
  • Partner with Human Resources and site leadership regarding employee onboarding concerns or engagement opportunities.
