Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, assess, and secure high-impact talent in support of the company’s scientific, clinical, technical, and corporate objectives. As a key member of the HR Operations team within a fast-paced biotech environment, this role develops and executes proactive recruiting strategies to build strong pipelines of scientific and specialized talent critical to advancing research, development, and commercialization goals. This position partners closely with HR Business Partners, and functional leaders across Testing, CDMO, Quality, and corporate functions to understand evolving workforce needs and deliver timely, high-quality hires. The Talent Acquisition Partner ensures a consistent, compliant, and data-driven recruiting process while enhancing employer brand presence within competitive biotech talent markets. The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting expertise within life sciences and thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for scientific, clinical, regulatory, quality, or GMP manufacturing roles.
  • Experience sourcing passive, advanced-degree scientific talent.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and recruiting technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of compliant hiring practices.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment within biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.
  • Knowledge of scientific roles including research, translational science, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, quality, and GMP manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments (GMP, GLP, GCP).
  • Understanding of biotech talent markets and advanced-degree candidate profiles (PhD, MD, MS).
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliant hiring practices.
  • Advanced sourcing skills for highly specialized scientific and technical talent.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with scientific leaders and technical stakeholders.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills related to recruiting metrics.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent searches.
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with scientific and executive leadership.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, milestone-driven biotech environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting hiring priorities tied to research or funding milestones.
  • Ability to balance strategic talent pipelining with immediate hiring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for scientific, clinical, technical, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and corporate roles.
  • Conduct detailed intake meetings to understand technical competencies, scientific expertise, and cultural alignment requirements.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for highly specialized and hard-to-fill roles, including passive candidate outreach.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidates against defined technical and behavioral competencies.
  • Coordinate structured interviews and partner with hiring teams to ensure effective candidate assessment and selection.
  • Manage offer development and negotiations in alignment with compensation guidelines and internal equity.
  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines of scientific and biotech talent, including PhD-level researchers and specialized industry professionals.
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, scientific networks, industry associations, conferences, referrals, and niche job boards.
  • Develop relationships with external talent communities, universities, and professional organizations.
  • Support diversity recruiting initiatives to strengthen inclusive hiring practices across technical and leadership roles.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and industry-specific hiring regulations.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, diversity metrics, and pipeline health.
  • Support audit readiness related to hiring practices and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting workflows and systems.
  • Deliver a high-touch, professional candidate experience reflective of the company’s mission and scientific culture.
  • Provide transparent communication regarding timelines and expectations.
  • Partner with HR Operations to ensure seamless transition from offer acceptance to onboarding.
  • Monitor biotech talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices.
  • Provide insights to leadership on talent availability and workforce planning risks.
  • Contribute to workforce planning discussions aligned with pipeline milestones, clinical timelines, and manufacturing scale-up needs.
  • Support employer branding efforts that position the company as an employer of choice within the biotech community.
  • Ensure compliance with all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations in all aspects of your work.
  • Adhere to established procedures and protocols, prioritize continuous training and skill development, and uphold the highest standards of data integrity to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
