About The Position

Our dynamic Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) supports the needs of the business by hiring talent in the Field, Distribution and Fulfillment Centers, Home Office and Buying Offices. We have an opening for a Home Office based Operations Speciaist to provide diversified support for hourly hiring in the HomeGoods/Homesense Distribution Centers. Our Operations Specialists possess strong communication skills and act as a liaison between the candidates, Recruiters and Distribution Center HR Business Partners. They must also demonstate meticulous organizational skills and have the ability to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail. They are resourceful and confident in problem solving. They must be able to work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams) required
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the flexibility to tailor communication style to different audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and follow-through abilities
  • Self-directed individual who can work independently and collaborate effectively with peers and business partners
  • Ability to build credible, trustworthy relationships and maintain a growth mindset

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent TJX employment brand experience to all candidates
  • Provide diversified support for multiple Recruiters and Distribution Center locations in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced work environment
  • Act as a business partner and liaison to both Recruiters and Distribution Center HR teams on process
  • Schedule and coordinate onsite and virtual interviews at Distribution Center locations
  • Draft and send offer letters to candidates
  • Initiate and track progress of pre-hire background checks; adjudicate former employment and education flags
  • Partner with internal contacts (Distribution Center HR, HR Compliance, HR Xpress, Payroll) to ensure accurate new hire records and documentation
  • Proactively communicate with candidates and external contacts across various channels (email, phone, text)
  • Track applicant flow in real time, manage ATS transactions, maintain accurate Excel records of candidate pipelines, and prepare new hires for orientation
  • Effectively manage 100+ candidates weekly in the ATS during peak periods
