About The Position

Walters Hospitality is a high-growth hospitality company behind 45+ stunning event venues across four regions, where weddings, milestone celebrations, and once-in-a-lifetime moments happen every weekend. We are growing fast, both within our current footprint and into new markets. Behind every great event is a great team, and behind a great team is a great talent operation. We are looking for our first dedicated Talent Acquisition Manager to build that operation with us. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role reporting directly to our Director of Team Member Experience. Your primary recruiting focus will be hiring our Venue Sales Specialists, the team that books the weddings, milestones, and corporate events at the heart of our business. Beyond that, you will be a one-person talent powerhouse with the autonomy to build, the resources to win, and meaningful exposure to senior leaders during venue acquisitions and new market launches.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in hospitality, retail, restaurant, events, or another multi-location industry.
  • Strong track record hiring sales or revenue-generating talent.
  • Hands-on experience running an ATS and partnering with vendors like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and recruitment marketing agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable working closely with senior executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

  • You are bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • You have recruited across multiple states and know the differences (pay transparency rules, ban-the-box, salary history bans).
  • You know sales hiring inside and out, ideally with exposure to Topgrading or the Who method.
  • You have worked in events, weddings, hospitality, or venue operations.
  • You have owned employer branding or recruitment marketing in a prior role.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle hiring for our Venue Sales Specialists (15 to 20 per year). Build proactive pipelines, run a sharp candidate experience, and deliver hires that win.
  • Build the recruiting playbook for opening new venues and entering new markets. As we grow, you will be the person standing up our recruiting muscle on the ground.
  • Own the relationships with HireClix (our recruitment marketing agency), LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and any new partners we add. Negotiate, optimize spend, and track ROI like it is your money.
  • Be the internal expert on our applicant tracking system. Build clean workflows, fix what is broken, and pull the data leadership needs to make smart decisions. Keep us compliant on multi-state hiring rules as we expand.
  • Train, equip, and empower our venue and regional leaders to interview better. Build scorecards, run interview prep, and become the expert they all want on speed dial.
  • Take full ownership of our Predictive Index platform (we will train you) and our Employee Referral Program. Make both into engines that drive better hiring across the company.
  • Work closely with our Director of Team Member Experience and gain meaningful exposure to our executive team during venue acquisitions and new market launches. Your work shows up where the big decisions get made.

Benefits

  • 85 percent employer-subsidized medical, plus dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with 4 percent match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Device and phone stipend
