As Talent Acquisition Manager Europe, you are responsible for driving and coordinating recruitment activities across the European business. You partner closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs, advise them throughout the recruitment process, and ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and compliant hiring approach across all countries. The role combines hands-on recruitment with strategic responsibility for the conceptual development and continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition setup in Europe, in close collaboration with the Global TA Manager and the VP HR Europe. In addition, you lead employer branding initiatives, including early-career, dual training, and apprenticeship programs, while consistently delivering an excellent candidate experience across all hiring levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years full cycle recruiting
  • 2+ years team management or leadership role
  • 1+ years demonstrated success managing recruitment teams and building effective hiring strategies tailored to European markets.
  • Knowledge of recruiting tools, sourcing strategies, and talent platforms.
  • Proven experience working in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with an established professional network across Europe and the industry.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding roles, talent profiles, and market dynamics, enabling effective sourcing and hiring of specialized talent.
  • Understanding employment law and recruitment compliance.
  • Interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the recruitment lifecycle across Europe, from role intake and job posting in the ATS (iCIMS) through screening, and interviews, ensuring timeliness, quality, and compliance.
  • Partner closely with department heads and business leaders to define role requirements, hiring criteria, and effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning needs.
  • Develop and execute the European recruitment strategy in alignment with overall business objectives, market trends, and talent availability.
  • Utilize diverse sourcing channels—including job boards, social media, direct sourcing, employee referrals, and industry networks—to attract qualified candidates and proactively build talent pools.
  • Actively participates in industry fairs to promote the company as employer of choice and attract skilled professionals in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Collaborate with global HR and local HR Business Partners to ensure excellent support for the business when it comes to hiring top talent.
  • Provide KPI’s (open roles per country, time to hire, turnover rate, recruitment experience, number of apprenticeships, training programs, etc.) and prepare insightful reports.
