About The Position

BILT’s HR and Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for acquiring the most qualified employees to meet the staffing needs and support HR Operational efforts for the company. Develops new strategies and programs to attract both qualified internal and external candidates to open positions and ensures a constant pipeline of qualified candidates are available for interviewing. This position works closely with management team on determining best recruiting strategies, forecasting staffing needs, customizing skill, and testing requirements and implementing high quality interviewing selection techniques. This position will also assist with various other Human Resources duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources or Business) or equivalent combination of education/work experience is preferred.
  • Five plus years’ experience with managing full cycle recruiting efforts in a corporate recruiting environment is required.
  • All BILT employees are brand ambassadors for BILT and will be required to participate weekly (sometimes daily) in social campaigns to assist with the promotion of BILT
  • Ability to travel when required based on the needs of the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Three plus years’ experience managing a team of Talent Acquisitions Specialists preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enables BILT to meet current and future staffing needs by developing an understanding of our business operations as it relates to employee talent needs and by developing and recommending/implementing creative recruiting strategies.
  • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities.
  • Perform analysis and expedite planned initiatives and activities required to address hiring needs.
  • Create and implement KPI’s and SOP’s to effectively manage the talent acquisition function.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media and experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Salary.com, Twitter and Facebook to identify and engage talent.
  • Strong (and current) knowledge of all laws and regulations pertaining to employment and equal opportunity.
  • Build and maintain the candidate pool; keeping in touch with applicants to build interest for future openings.
  • Plan procedures and processes for improving upon the candidate experience and suggest measure for improving employee retention.
  • Effectively supports the recruiting needs of the organization by assisting with recruiting strategy development, ad placement, resume screening, interview scheduling, selection process, hiring/onboarding and any additional duties as required.
  • Effectively identifies and ensures utilization of all available recruiting resources to post positions and proactively source qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Measure the time required to fill each position to ensure critical resources are identified and processed promptly.
  • Clearly and accurately communicating the company’s employee value proposition to potential candidates while also making sure the team complies to all applicable policies, practices, processes.
  • Effectively executes the selection process for all exempt, non-exempt level, independent contractor positions for all departments by ensuring all positions are posted internally; sourcing external candidates, presenting hiring managers with qualified, pre-screened (interviewed and tested) candidates; and by coaching managers on selection process and testing tools.
  • Ensuring background/references checks prior to extending offers.
  • Implementation and execution of the Graduate & Intern program recruiting initiatives by assisting with college recruiting strategy development, participating in the college recruiting selection process and managing program logistics to ensure we are building a steady talent pipeline in alignment with our evolving business needs.
  • Create and maintain an effective Applicant Tracking System to ensure job opportunity and applicant tracking in compliance with policies and best practices to ensure OFCCP compliance.
  • In addition, this role will execute and manage special staffing initiatives for the organization.
  • Stays abreast of talent acquisition trends/best practices and makes recommendations to ensure maximum alignment in our processes.
  • Performs special recruitment programs/projects as assigned by Human Resources Director (e.g., Hiring Events, Job Fairs, Recruitment Analysis) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assists in meeting Affirmative Action objectives by developing and implementing action-oriented programs in support of diversity.
