About The Position

The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is Canada's only government to government contracting agency. This cross-functional role supports recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, and HR operations, with a primary focus on recruitment. Responsibilities include coordinating full-cycle recruitment processes, supporting onboarding and payroll-related administrative activities, maintaining HR records, and assisting with a variety of HR tasks. The successful candidate will bring strong recruitment experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in an HR/Talent Acquisition function
  • Must possess strong judgment skills, understand their biases, and operate in a manner that selects the best candidates during the recruitment process
  • Possess a track record of balancing the management of efficient high-volume pipelines, competing priorities, and providing an incredible candidate experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, with a strong interest in the recruitment area of HR
  • Bilingualism (English/French) required
  • A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality are required
  • Secret Clearance or eligibility for secret clearance, Mandatory
  • Employee must be able to work in a hybrid work environment in Ottawa, ON.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities with urgency and attention to candidate experience and organisational fit, including maintaining the applicant tracking system and regularly reviewing applications
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and related HR projects or initiatives
  • Support hiring managers by preparing shortlists, briefing them on candidates, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and participating in interviews as required
  • Liaise with recruitment firms, external service providers, and candidates, including direct sourcing through professional platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Perform other related administrative duties in support of the HR function
