About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator, reporting to the National Human Resources and Safety Manager, collaborates with operational leaders to address workforce needs, enhance hiring efficiency, shorten vacancy timelines, and support employee retention. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions across multiple locations, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Additionally, the coordinator assists with onboarding, workforce reporting, and maintaining recruitment systems and processes. The position can be based in Edmonton, AB, or Tillsonburg, ON.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Experience supporting multi-site or operational environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of employment standards and recruitment best practices

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned positions
  • Conduct reference checks and pre-employment screening processes
  • Develop recruitment initiatives for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions
  • Assist with labour market and compensation benchmarking research
  • Ensure completion of required hiring documentation
  • Lead new hire integration and onboarding follow-up
  • Lead probationary review tracking
  • Support immigration or temporary foreign worker processes where applicable
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives
