About The Position

Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) is dedicated to accelerating the transition to fusion energy by designing and building commercially viable fusion power plants. Since 2018, CFS has secured nearly $3 billion in funding, establishing itself as the leading private fusion company globally. The Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Coordinator to support the hiring process by managing recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews, posting job openings, maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS), and greeting candidates at the Devens, MA office. This role is part of a team of 8, comprising recruiters and coordinators.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Natural ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities.
  • Sound judgment and situational awareness as the first CFS point of contact.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using various communication tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Lever or other Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Ability to accurately and consistently tell the CFS story while setting expectations.
  • Highly responsive customer service attitude, internally and externally.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics.
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a world-class candidate experience at every stage of the Talent Acquisition process.
  • Schedule video or on-site interviews for candidates, including arranging necessary travel.
  • Greet and host interviewees, serving as their primary point of contact for the day, often managing multiple on-site visits daily.
  • Support the organization's sourcing efforts by opening up the top end of the recruiting funnel using various tools and creative sources.
  • Schedule and facilitate intake and debrief discussions with hiring managers, interview teams, and recruiters.
  • Maintain the Lever Applicant Tracking System through data entry, reporting, and managing an active talent pipeline.
  • Meet and greet candidates at the CFS office in Devens, MA.
