About The Position

W. R. Berkley Corporation, a Fortune 500 company founded in 1967, is a leading commercial lines property and casualty insurer with over 60 businesses worldwide. This role is a temporary position, expected to last approximately 6-10 months, with the possibility of extension. The Temporary Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for various operating units or departments within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years professional and executive level full life cycle recruiting experience ideal.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting in the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry or Technology spaces highly desirable.
  • Previous experience recruiting at large, complex organizations requiring regular interaction with multiple operating units or departments ideal.
  • Creative sourcing and exceptional workflow processing skills.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills with emphasis on interfacing effectively with Executive level candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to work across the organization to achieve recruiting results.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking system such as iCIMS and maximizing sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to manage and influence in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to make decisions incorporating diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute duties and tasks associated with colleague recruitment for one or more W. R. Berkley operating units or departments.
  • Interact with various hiring managers and HR Partners.
  • Plan, source, screen, and recommend candidates for open or anticipated positions.
  • Assist with interview scheduling.
  • Guide final candidate selection.
  • Manage offer creation, negotiations, and discussions.
  • Handle pre and post onboarding activities.
