About The Position

Help solve complex talent challenges and shape the future workforce of a leading regional university. Join a high-performing TA team with flexible hybrid work. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term (up to 12 months) role, Level 6, with a salary of $92,025 to $99,538 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation). Preferred locations include Bathurst or Wagga Wagga, with other potential locations being Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga. We are currently seeking a motivated and collaborative Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our high performing team and help shape the future workforce of Charles Sturt University. Partnering with hiring managers across a diverse range of academic and professional portfolios, you will deliver expert recruitment advice and lead end-to-end recruitment processes. From workforce planning and attraction strategies through to candidate assessment, selection and onboarding, you will help ensure an outstanding experience for both candidates and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to influence hiring outcomes, drive best-practice recruitment approaches, and contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance the University's talent acquisition capability and employer brand. The successful candidate will join our current team at one of our regional campuses and will have the opportunity to work flexibly under the University’s hybrid work policy.

Requirements

• Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, human resources, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection practices
• Strong stakeholder engagement, consultation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships
• Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and recruitment compliance requirements
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and HR information systems
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes
• A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
