This job is responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process which includes understanding business needs, developing and executing a sourcing strategy, screening/interviewing candidates, managing critical work within a specific Line of Business (LOB), and offering extensions. Key responsibilities include partnering with senior leaders within the business and across Human Resources (HR) to achieve hiring objectives for assigned business units. Job expectations include driving strategic talent initiatives, leveraging data to inform hiring decisions, and mentoring junior team members to enhance overall recruiting effectiveness. The Talent Acquisition Consultant II position will sit in the Global Human Resources (GHR) organization within Global Talent Acquisition (GTA). It will provide strategic talent acquisition support to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for experienced advisors. The Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Talent Acquisition team is responsible for hiring highly qualified external financial advisors that will be located in Merrill offices throughout the country. This role will support creating an inclusive, best in class advisor population. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cold calling and appointment setting, with a preference for those with experience in the financial industry. Strong, seasoned recruiter to provide recruiting support for Market Executives which includes developing lead lists, cold calling, partnering with the internal deal team, to monitoring the offer extension and onboarding. Responsible assessing technical and leadership capabilities, consulting with leaders and business partners on process and strategy. Partner with senior leaders within the organization as well as multiple business partners across HR and finance on various hiring processes and strategies.
