About The Position

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for planning and executing recruiting activities for manufacturing professionals at our Portland, Oregon bakery. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sourcing and recruitment efforts for recruiting needs for the Portland Bakery. This role will build relationships and work closely with Hiring Managers to define sourcing strategies, gather and understand the position requirements to effectively identify talent that is aligned with the scope and responsibilities of the role. When partnering with the hiring manager, the manufacturing recruiter will serve as a primary source of recruitment advice, consultation and education on best practices to fill roles in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of full life cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing, or industrial recruiting.
  • Fluent in using web-based recruiting tools (WorkDay is a plus), including social media, job boards and applicant tracking tools along with the ability to effectively market positions to target qualified candidates.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint or similar office software is required.
  • Ability to source passive candidates to include cold calling and building relationships by phone.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong partnerships with hiring managers and human resource partner to understand the needs and execute the work.
  • Strong process management skills, detail orientation and time management skills.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in prioritizing workload demands.
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Proven track record in working in a centralized, high volume, on-line recruiting function preferred.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify qualified candidates and manage the process from position opening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute progressive integrated recruitment solutions using multiple avenues including direct sourcing, social networking, industry networking, employee referrals, Internet sourcing, minority and trade job fairs, targeted advertising, college and community outreach.
  • Manage internal and external job posting procedures, capturing applicant flow accurately and consistently leveraging the applicant tracking system (WorkDay).
  • Ensure that all recruitment procedures are consistent for all positions to ensure compliance with EEOC recruitment and selection records retention requirements.
  • Utilize influencing, interpersonal, selling and closing skills to encourage candidates to accept a Mondelēz International offer as an Employer of Choice.
  • Responsible for local boots on the ground activities such as market insights, local employer branding, community engagement, candidate attraction and onboarding.
