About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a strategic role in attracting, evaluating, hiring, and onboarding the talent that will support Intersand’s growth. As a true business partner, you actively contribute to building strong, high-performing teams by providing a distinctive candidate and employee experience that aligns with our employer brand. You will work in a dynamic environment where your expertise and initiative will have a direct impact on the organization’s ability to attract, engage, and retain talent. Depending on organizational needs, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to various HR projects and initiatives when recruitment volume allows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, including employee onboarding
  • Excellent communication and influence skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven approach
  • Proficiency with recruitment tools and digital platforms (ATS, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Bilingual in French and English to support our operations outside of Quebec

Responsibilities

  • Implement talent acquisition, sourcing, and diversity strategies (job postings, headhunting, social media, search engine optimization, etc.)
  • Collaborate with managers to define hiring needs, desired candidate profiles, and recruitment strategies
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from needs analysis to onboarding
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments
  • Advise managers on best practices for interviewing and selection
  • Ensure a proactive candidate experience and thorough follow-up at every stage
  • Plan, coordinate, and improve the onboarding process
  • Represent the company at job fairs, recruitment events, and campus activities
  • Collaborate on employer branding initiatives (events, content, visibility, etc.)
  • Implement initiatives that promote employee retention
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and performance metrics
  • Monitor market trends and best practices in talent acquisition and compensation
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives to support the team, in line with the organization’s priorities
