About The Position

The Retail Online Analytics team is seeking a Tag Management & Infrastructure Analyst with deep expertise in tag management, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Experience Platform to lead the design and implementation of scalable, privacy-centric measurement solutions across Apple’s web and native app ecosystem. To ensure compliance with China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) guidelines, we are transitioning from a single global reporting suite (hosted on AWS) to a localized data architecture. We are seeking a skilled, China-based resource to lead the configuration, implementation, and alignment of a brand-new local instance of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target. This role is critical in bridging localized compliance requirements with global data consistency and ensuring our analytics teams have the high-quality, aggregated data they need for business decisions. This role is ideal for an individual contributor who is technically strong, hands-on, and comfortable partnering with engineering, product, privacy, and data science teams. You will define data architecture, implement data collection standards and post processing, and ensure high-quality data collection that powers critical business KPIs for apple.com, the Apple Store app, and future digital initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in configuring and maintaining Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target (SDKs, launch tags, mapping).
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses, with a focus on data modeling and aggregation.
  • Familiarity with China’s PIPL (Personal Information Protection Law) guidelines regarding local data residency and privacy.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills to align local implementations with global business standards.
  • 8 years of digital analytics implementation and architecture experience for large-scale consumer web or commerce platforms
  • 6 years of hands-on Adobe Analytics experience, including complex implementations and operational ownership
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) concepts, data ingestion, and integrations
  • Excellent understanding of privacy principles, consent frameworks, cookies, and local storage protocols
  • Experience working with raw clickstream data, data feeds, and analytics validation/debugging tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners

  • Partner with business teams on localized variable mappings (eVar, prop, events) to drive maximum consistency between local reports and our global AWS-hosted reporting suites.
  • Play a pivotal role with Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) teams to design and build the optimal levels of data aggregation within Snowflake to support downstream analytics and reporting.
  • Partner with Privacy and Legal teams to ensure privacy-by-design data collection, consent management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Design, implement, and govern end-to-end digital analytics measurement architecture across web and native app platforms.
