About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer for a full-time vehicle patrol role in Portland, Oregon. The officer will patrol sensitive areas, monitor for suspicious activity, control access to secure areas, and respond to alarms, threats, or other incidents. The role requires standing and walking throughout the shift and calls for strong observation skills and the ability to anticipate and respond to risk. Officers may work in environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

The schedule is Thursday through Monday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The position pays $22.50 per hour. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
