About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Ballwin, Missouri. The officer patrols sensitive environments, identifies and responds to security risks, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The role requires physical activity throughout the shift, including standing and walking. The schedule is full-time: Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The position pays $23 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to obtain an armed license.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
