About The Position

The Table Games Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of the card room and card games of Eagle Mountain Casino. This role involves developing departmental strategies, managing budgets, overseeing financial analysis, staying updated on industry innovations, and ensuring compliance with casino policies and procedures. The manager will also safeguard casino assets in collaboration with surveillance and compliance teams, order necessary equipment and supplies, and work with manufacturers to introduce new games and cater to guest preferences. Planning facility expansions, coordinating promotions with marketing, and managing staffing levels through hiring, training, and performance management are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the manager must protect confidential business information and serve as a role model for their team.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • AA Degree in Business Administration or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in supervision or management of card games may be substituted.
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in card dealing and dealer training.
  • Knowledge of gaming compact, MICS, TRICS, Gaming Regulations, and cheat scams.
  • Must have a valid driver license and be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, oral, written skills, and problem solving.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent guest service a must.
  • Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual department budget, capital expenditures, marketing/promotional plans, and staffing needs.
  • Review and monitor financial analysis of Table Games.
  • Stay updated with industry innovations and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with casino policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard casino assets by working in liaison with surveillance and compliance.
  • Work closely with Purchasing Agent in ordering all Table Games equipment and supplies.
  • Work with manufacturers and suppliers in keeping up with state-of-the-art games and guest preference.
  • Plan and recommend expansion of facilities to meet guest demands.
  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Casino Marketing for all promotions being offered.
  • Maintain appropriate Team Member levels by interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and terminating Team Members as needed.
  • Protect the confidentiality of any and all casino business information.
  • Act as a role model for Team Members under your supervision by demonstrating positive action, behavior, attendance, work ethic, and guest service.
  • Attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
  • Perform all other departmental duties as assigned.
