About The Position

Mechanically deals table games in a proficient manner, handling guest transactions, and ensuring accurate payouts and collections. This role requires adherence to company policies, gaming regulations, and maintaining excellent guest relations. The dealer will also assist with property cleanliness and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills
• Must have 6 months or more of dealing experience in the last 5 years or have successfully completed a Rivers Casino dealer school
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
• Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
• New York State Gaming License required
• Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to identify colors
• Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Performs the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current Company policies and procedures, applicable gaming regulations and meeting required rounds per hour by game type
• Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor of any irregularities while advising a Table Games Supervisor or Pit Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealers
• Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pays or collects bets according to house rules in an accurate manner
• Supports and maintains guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations
• Assists with the cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House
• Performs all other duties as assigned
