About The Position

Performs dealing services for the Table Games Department in a large well established casino, including Black Jack, and Roulette, following all applicable rules and regulations. Must be able to respond to visual and oral signals. Must be able to pitch cards, handle money efficiently, and handle chips professionally. Must Keep track of the game and players’ actions. Accept bets, pay winners, and collect from losers. Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt and notifying the Pit Supervisor of any irregularities. Maintains superior and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience. Advises Pit Supervisor of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game and of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players. Exchanges customer’s currency for gaming chips. Assists customers in playing and ensures adherence to established rules, policies and procedures. Maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees. Provides personal attention and assistance to customers: verifies customer winnings; and explains gaming rules and regulations, as necessary. Acts to keep customers satisfied. Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Verifies customers are 21+ and stamps hands. Complies with established security policies and procedures. Informs supervisor and/or security personnel/supervisor of any concerns Must be able to manipulate cards, dice, chips and gaming devices such as roulette wheels and craps sticks accurately. Demonstrated ability performing basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Performs all duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Limited Gaming regulations, and other applicable municipal, state and federal laws or regulations.
