About The Position

Deal assigned games according to table games procedures to ensure guest service standards are met. Occasionally will Dual Rate as a Supervisor, based on business needs, and maintain a gaming environment that is exciting and welcoming to the guests. Assist and do what you and your department can to create a fun, exciting entertainment experience for our guests and engaging, inclusive, supportive work environment for our team members.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 18 months of dealing all games offered by Little River Casino Resort
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency in basic math and pass a live audition
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Basic organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Basic money handling skills with the ability to count money and give change swiftly and accurately
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Maintain high confidentiality
  • Independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all departments
  • Passing a pre-employment drug test excluding marijuana
  • Secure a gaming license from the Little River Band of Ottawa Indian Gaming Commission
  • Passing Resort background investigation
  • Successfully completing a 90-day introductory period
  • Individual must not have been charged or released from employment or involved in anything which could be considered a liability to the Resort, e.g. harassment, theft, violence, or integrity issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a Tribally run casino and/or resort preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deals games according to Little River Casino Resort policies, NIGC, Tribal policies, State compact and Tribal gaming regulations.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with Little River Casino Resort guest service standards.
  • Actively build and retain guest relations to provide superior guest service to internal and external guests.
  • Maintains general knowledge of Little River Casino Resort operations, programs, promotions, events, and services.
  • Must successfully complete the LRCR AML program's Title 31 Training and testing prior to performing job duties and continue recertification as required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort.
  • Must Dual Rate as a supervisor as business needs dictate.
  • Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and of the Table Games department.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the Resort’s Health and Safety Program.
