About The Position

Own the cost and productivity pipeline for the T700/CT7 product line, lead the joint T700/CT7 Product Control Board (PCB), manage model consolidation and Multi-Generation Product Plan (MGPP), and drive operating rhythms for the ~$1B T700 business. This role is accountable for delivering material and conversion cost reductions, driving platform commonality and engine model consolidation, managing obsolescence and upgrade kits, and coordinating forums that ensure timely decisions, clear documentation, and focused execution acting as the glue between the T700 and CT7 platforms within project. Working across product management, engineering, sourcing, VCP lab, supply chain, and commercial teams, this leader will identify and execute cost-out opportunities, retire obsolete products, consolidate models/parts to reduce complexity, insert new technologies that increase customer value, and run the T700 Weekly and Monthly Operating Reviews (WOR/MOR) to accelerate continuous improvement and elevate key issues to senior leadership. The T700/CT7 team manages a broad portfolio of engine models and configurations serving domestic and international customers. You will work across product management, engineering, sourcing, VCP lab, supply chain, shops, and commercial teams to drive cost productivity, platform commonality, engine model consolidation, and long-term product strategy for the T700/CT7 fleet. The T700/CT7 Cost, Strategic Programs, and PCB Program Manager owns the cost and productivity pipeline for the T700/CT7 product line and serves as the joint Product Control Board (PCB) leader for both platforms. In this role, you will drive material and conversion cost reductions, manage model consolidation and the Multi-Generation Product Plan (MGPP), and run the operating rhythms for the T700 business. You will be accountable for obsolescence management, upgrade kit strategy, and cross-functional forums that ensure timely decisions, clear documentation, and focused execution—acting as the “glue” between the T700 and CT7 platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in one or more of the following areas: shop operations/manufacturing engineering; engineering/technology development; finance/cost analysis; sourcing or supply chain; product management/product line leadership
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with T700/CT7 engines or similar gas turbine products; understanding of how engineering, certification/qualification, and supply chain interact to deliver product changes.
  • Experience with gas turbine design and/or component manufacturing, including knowledge of key cost drivers for hot and cold section hardware.
  • Demonstrated cost-out leadership, including identification, execution, and sustainment of material and conversion cost reductions; experience driving commonality and model/part consolidation.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills; comfort with AUC, cost variance, and business case development to support MGPP projects and upgrade kits.
  • Understanding of deal review and commercial constructs (pricing, margin, upgrade kit business cases) and how product and cost decisions impact customer value and P&L.
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional forums (e.g., PCB, WOR/MOR, program reviews) with strong meeting facilitation, action tracking, and decision documentation discipline.
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and influence without authority across product management, engineering, sourcing, shops, and commercial teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement and lean mindset, able to structure complex issues, develop options, and drive implementation across functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey decisions, actions, and rationales in PCB minutes, WOR/MOR materials, and leadership briefings.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • T700/CT7 Cost and Productivity Leadership Own the T700/CT7 cost pipeline from idea generation through validation, implementation, and sustainment, including material and conversion productivity, repair productivity, and other key cost drivers.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute cost-out projects leveraging VA/VE, platform commonality, sourcing actions, repair optimization, and shop/process improvements, ensuring savings are validated, booked, and sustained.
  • Partner with engineering, sourcing, VCP lab, and shops to understand cost drivers, develop cost reduction concepts, and drive changes through design, qualification, industrialization, and implementation.
  • Lead cost reporting and analytics, including regular AUC and cost performance reporting (e.g., maintaining cost dashboards and shared repositories), to provide transparency to leadership and support PCB and deal reviews.
  • Lead T700/CT7 engine model consolidation and MGPP, driving platform commonality by retiring obsolete products and consolidating models and parts to reduce supply chain and engineering complexity.
  • Own the T700 MGPP process to continuously evaluate and insert technologies that address obsolescence and enhance customer value, sustaining platform viability across domestic and international fleets.
  • Manage obsolescence and supply chain resiliency, ensuring continued production and support when materials or components go out of production, including qualification of alternates and change introduction via PCB.
  • Lead creation and updates of international upgrade kits, translating new technologies and design changes into upgrade offerings that drive margin and ensuring configurations remain compliant and “legal” for customers.
  • Lead the joint T700/CT7 Product Control Board (PCB) by scheduling and hosting meetings, preparing agendas, ensuring required participants are present, and keeping the forum focused on timely decision-making.
  • Capture, publish, and preserve PCB minutes and actions to document key business decisions and maintain required records in compliance with safety, quality, and configuration control policies.
  • Drive platform commonality through PCB decisions, ensuring changes support model consolidation, obsolescence resolution, and supply chain simplification across the T700/CT7 model family.
  • Lead the T700 Weekly Operating Review (WOR) to accelerate continuous improvement, prioritize the biggest issues across the T700 business, and align resources to resolve them.
  • Support the T700 Monthly Operating Review (MOR) by elevating WOR insights, risks, and actions to senior leadership, ensuring clear ownership, follow-up, and closure.
  • Serve as the integrator for the T700/CT7 product line, aligning cost-out, MGPP, PCB decisions, obsolescence actions, and operating metrics into a coherent execution plan for the T700 business.
