Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in facilities, maintenance, pest control support, cleaning, environmental services, manufacturing support, warehouse, utilities, or a regulated work environment preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures, checklists, schedules, plans, and work instructions.
  • Ability to document work clearly and accurately.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Excel or similar tools, and electronic work order or documentation systems.
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers, service providers, supervisors, and client representatives professionally.
  • Ability to work in areas requiring safety standards, PPE, access control, and dress code requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in GMP regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated sites.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Experience coordinating or escorting external service providers.
  • Experience using CMMS or Work Order systems such as Maximo or similar systems.
  • Basic understanding of pest control monitoring units, facility inspections, door seals, drains, exterior perimeters, air curtains, and conditions that may attract or allow pests.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Escort and support the Pest Control Service Provider during scheduled services in GMP buildings, non-GMP buildings, support areas, exterior building areas, and site perimeter areas.
  • Assist the JLL Pest Control Program Manager in coordinating the daily field activities of the pest control program.
  • Review the pest control service schedule and assist in confirming that services are completed on time.
  • Tour areas with the Pest Control Service Provider and verify that work is performed in accordance with approved procedures, safety standards, dress code standards, and site requirements.
  • Verify that pest control monitoring units are in the correct location and in good condition. These may include insect light traps, rodent bait stations, lizard traps, monitoring stations, aerosol sprayers, and other approved pest control units.
  • Compare pest control units to approved building plans or lists when required.
  • Report missing, damaged, disconnected, blocked, or out-of-place pest control units.
  • Report any unusual findings, pest activity, safety concerns, documentation issues, or conditions that may allow pests to enter the facility.
  • Create or communicate Work Orders when repairs are needed, such as door gaps, damaged seals, wall openings, ceiling openings, drainage issues, screen damage, air curtain issues, or other facility conditions.
  • Follow up on Work Orders and corrective actions related to pest control findings.
  • Perform routine field inspections related to the pest control program, including building perimeter checks, door checks, and interior/exterior inspections as assigned.
  • Review service forms, inspection logs, spreadsheets, and other records to verify completeness and accuracy.
  • Support Good Documentation Practices by ensuring records are clear, complete, accurate, and completed on time.
  • Assist in reviewing pest control data and identifying unusual trends or repeated findings.
  • Support investigations related to pest sightings, pest events, or unusual pest activity.
  • Participate in tours with JLL, client site stakeholders, Quality, EHS, Manufacturing, Facilities, building owners, program owner/designee, and the Pest Control Service Provider as needed.
  • Support temporary pest control monitoring units for construction work, special projects, pest events, or corrective actions.
  • Communicate clearly with the JLL Pest Control Program Manager, client building owners, Quality, EHS, Manufacturing, Facilities, and the Pest Control Service Provider.
  • Support audit readiness by keeping records, inspection notes, Work Order references, and follow-up information organized and available.
  • Escalate urgent issues, potential compliance risks, safety concerns, service gaps, or potentially product-impacting events according to site procedures.
  • Support emergency response, shutdowns, slowdowns, weekend work, weather events, business continuity events, and client operational needs when required.
