About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Systems Testing / QA Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for large-scale applications. This role focuses on ensuring software quality through a combination of manual and automated testing, validating system performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in QA and testing, including automation and manual testing
  • Strong experience with defect triaging, reporting, and defect management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Extensive experience in regression testing (manual and automated)
  • Proven ability to prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test data
  • Experience with various testing types: black-box, system, integration, unit, security, penetration, performance, and UAT testing
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum/DevOps environments
  • Strong data validation and backend testing experience using queries
  • Experience with CI/CD integration and automation pipelines
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, UFT, Postman
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Understanding of scripting/programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash)
  • Exposure to HTML5, accessibility standards (WAI-ARIA), and front-end technologies
  • Experience with version control and CASE tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on testing strategy, test plans, tool selection, and required resources
  • Plan, organize, and execute testing for GUI and non-GUI systems, including integration, system, and user acceptance testing
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases across various components
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, and Postman
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct performance, stress, and load testing to ensure scalability
  • Validate system accuracy, integrity, and behavior under different conditions
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (AODA) and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Maintain documentation including test results, coverage, and quality metrics
  • Validate data integrity, migration, and transformation across systems
  • Provide input into user manuals and release documentation
