Systems Test Engineer

Figure, an AI Robotics company based in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to design and execute test plans for their humanoid robots. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, and strong organizational and communication skills. Bonus qualifications include experience with designing and executing test plans for real robots, coding in C++ and/or Python, designing parts in a CAD system, and understanding of AI systems and how they are implemented. The job requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system meets the requirements
• Own verification and validation efforts
• Develop and hone robot behaviors until they are robust enough to run in real world scenarios
• Design and implement test infrastructure for enabling robot development

• 3-5 years of relative experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
• Ability to understand complex systems and how they work together
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Good understanding of software and autonomy systems
• Experience with designing and executing test plans for real robots (Bonus Qualification)
• Ability to code in C++ and/or Python (Bonus Qualification)
• Ability to design parts in a CAD system (Bonus Qualification)
• Understanding of AI systems and how they are implemented (Bonus Qualification)
