About The Position

Support Navy systems by maintaining, operating, and providing test support for electrical and mechanical systems equipment. Perform routine and advanced corrective maintenance actions in support of research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) engineering changes. Assist with the development of mission planning and post-mission analysis. Assist the Test Director in performing system and support equipment test. Guide Navy members in the use of these systems as a result of engineering and software changes.

Requirements

Experience providing electrical or mechanical technical support on DoD or DoW equipment
Experience installing or testing engineering changes to systems or their associated support equipment
Experience troubleshooting and correcting problems on equipment
Knowledge of Navy maintenance practices or Navy Technical Manuals
Ability to read and redline Naval and commercial engineering drawings
Ability to interface with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Navy Fleet activities to coordinate and safely test and operate equipment
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience performing routine and advanced maintenance on UAVs, UUVs, or USVs
Experience operating UAVs, UUVs, or USVs
Bachelor's degree
