This role is responsible for installing, configuring, managing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing computer networks, workstations, support server systems, supporting hardware/software, user accounts, and computer/telephone rooms. The analyst will also train and instruct users on the proper use and security of all systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity. This includes responding to program error messages, providing network communications support and technical guidance, and referring major problems to vendors or technicians. The role involves analyzing, recommending, and implementing process improvements, consulting with others to assess computing needs and system requirements, and inspecting, testing, and diagnosing computer equipment and systems. Additionally, the analyst will plan and coordinate information technology-related equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements, as well as plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. End-user support for all applications, planning and managing disk space for the entire network, and maintaining an accurate inventory of all technological devices are also key responsibilities. The analyst will enter commands and activate controls on computers and equipment, and ensure backup tapes are locked in a fireproof safe. The position also requires adherence to company policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, addressing guest service needs, assisting other employees, speaking professionally, answering telephones appropriately, serving as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy, developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The role involves identifying and implementing ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, entering and locating information using computers/POS systems, and moving up and down stairs/ramps. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by supervisors.
