This role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, or Huntsville, AL, and requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. The Missile Defense National Team (MDNT), established in 2004, is responsible for developing and deploying the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system. This critical system integrates global sensor data to provide a unified information source for warfighters, enabling effective engagements. The C2BMC Program encompasses the full lifecycle of defense contract solutions, including system architecture, development, deployment, operations, maintenance, and sustainment of the Missile Defense System (MDS). This work involves collaboration with multiple industry partners, leveraging expertise in model-based systems engineering (MBSE), requirements development, modeling and simulation (M&S), network design, integration and testing, and analysis. The position specifically supports the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), contributing to the MDA's mission of developing and deploying a layered Missile Defense System to protect against missile attacks.
