About The Position

The Systems Security Analyst is responsible for analyzing, developing, and validating the security posture of systems across the USSF Mission System platform. This role ensures that cybersecurity policies, security configurations, and operational practices are properly implemented and continuously maintained to meet Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Department of the Air Force cyber requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent with 5 years of specific experience supporting DoW Cyber/ Information Systems Security.
  • Sec+ or equivalent (CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/CND/SSCP/CGRC) certification.
  • Experience applying security policies.
  • Experience documenting system security operations and maintenance activities.
  • Experience performing security reviews to identify gaps in security architecture.
  • Experience developing security risk management plans.
  • Understanding of the system certification process.
  • Experience with information assurance risk assessments.
  • Understanding of information security principles, DoW STIGs, RMF, and A&A processes for systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • MUST HAVE A CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI ELIGIBLE SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.

Nice To Haves

  • MS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree.
  • Knowledge of the following tools: Splunk, ACAS, Evaluate_STIG, STIG Viewer, eMASS / eMASSter, CVSS Calculator, Jira, Confluence, Mattermost.
  • Understanding of security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies for networked and non-networked systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
