This position has major administrative and technical responsibilities for managing the work of the State Operations Unit within the Bureau of WIC Program Services. Independent judgment is required in the management of the statewide data system that supports the operation and management of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). The incumbent is responsible for performing quality assurance testing and analysis for FL-WiSE, electronic benefits transfer (EBT), reporting, and related business processes. They will review requirements and technical information, develop and execute test cases, scenarios, scripts, test data, and expected results, document evidence, identify errors or variances, and verify that corrections and system changes conform to approved requirements and quality standards. This role also provides front-line technical and operational support for state and local WIC users, reviews and responds to assigned inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and escalates unresolved defects. Additionally, the position participates in user acceptance testing, writes and updates system and program documentation, analyzes user requirements to identify operating problems and improvement opportunities, assists with training, coordinates issue-resolution and testing activities, develops and validates reports, and maintains accurate records. The incumbent will also maintain professional knowledge of WIC procedures, quality assurance methods, data analysis, and relevant technologies.
