About The Position

The Business Systems & Project Analyst supports the implementation, rollout and ongoing improvement of enterprise business systems across AKAM. This is an execution-focused role responsible for helping move approved systems initiatives through implementation, testing, training, rollout and adoption. The role works across Systems & Technology, business stakeholders and vendors to coordinate activities, maintain momentum and ensure successful execution. The position supports both organic business growth and acquisition integration, while also helping improve the documentation, adoption and ongoing use of existing systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business systems, technology implementation, business analysis, project coordination/project management or a related role.
  • Experience coordinating software or business-system implementations across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to understand business processes and systems sufficiently to effectively coordinate implementation activities.
  • Experience with UAT, training, rollout and user-adoption activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across business, technical and vendor teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with real estate/property management, M&A integration or enterprise business applications is a plus.
  • Experience with Yardi, Microsoft 365, Monday.com or similar enterprise platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation and AI-enabled business tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate execution of approved system implementations, enhancements and rollouts.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, action items and status reporting.
  • Coordinate activities across S&T, business stakeholders, vendors and other project participants.
  • Facilitate project meetings and drive follow-up on decisions and action items.
  • Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, delays and issues.
  • Coordinate implementation readiness, go-live and post-launch activities.
  • Support systems-related M&A integrations, migrations, conversions and rollouts.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including participants, testing activities, issue tracking and follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials and other implementation resources.
  • Coordinate and deliver system training for new implementations and enhancements.
  • Support rollout communications and user-readiness activities.
  • Monitor adoption and coordinate follow-up training or improvements where needed.
  • Maintain system documentation, workflows, SOPs, implementation records and training materials.
  • Help develop repeatable implementation and rollout playbooks.
  • Support ongoing system enhancements and process/workflow improvements.
  • Assist with opportunities for automation and AI-enabled process improvement.
  • Ensure completed implementations transition effectively into steady-state ownership and support.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and provide clear status visibility to S&T leadership.
