About The Position

Noblis supports the FAA in managing large and complex telecommunications and information management programs that utilize state-of-the-art technologies to deliver enterprise infrastructure services critical to the safe and efficient operation of the world's largest aviation system. We are seeking intelligent, passionate, and motivated individuals to join our established team in a demanding yet rewarding work environment. In this role, you will be actively involved at the intersection of technology and operations, enhancing our nation's aviation system. If you are interested in acquiring, implementing, and managing the communication and information solutions to realize our nation's aviation vision, this is the position for you! This role may involve providing engineering support throughout all phases of integration, testing, and evaluation related to the FAA National Test Bed (FNTB).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 9 years experience. Equivalency substitutions to be reviewed for client approval: Master's degree and 6 years experience; Associate's degree and 11 years experience.
  • Ability to travel to meetings at FAA or vendor facilities around the U.S if required by the role.
  • Experience supporting federal government programs within the FAA.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.

  • Ability to work independently and/or in collaborative team environments to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems, priorities, and compliance activities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and review formal security documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate system and security requirements with the ATO, ANG, and other FAA internal and external telecommunication stakeholders.
  • Perform security, interoperability, and degraded operations testing activities for all user requirements.
  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and FNTB development enhancements.
  • Witness and support developmental and operational integration testing.
  • Assess and report on system performance measurements.
  • Review and submit technical test and integration program documentation.
