About The Position

RedSail Technologies, LLC is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to be responsible for a wide range of duties including computer network design, programming, testing, implementing, system administration, and support. This role involves designing computer networks and systems architecture, programming and testing network systems, and implementing and maintaining system administration tasks. The engineer will install operating systems, provide end-user support, and establish and maintain network security protocols and policies. Key responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing system performance, creating and managing user accounts, designing and maintaining online web presence, and implementing and supporting email servers. The position also requires providing LAN/WAN support and network design, writing shell scripts, modular programming, and process handling. The engineer will develop, improve, and maintain network and computer systems, modify system software to meet performance objectives, and document system modifications and procedures for new software implementations. Additionally, the role involves setting up computer networks for document storage, transfer, and retrieval, overseeing daily computer system performance and troubleshooting, installing and configuring new equipment and software, and planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures. The engineer will configure and define parameters for LAN/WAN installations and interact with management and users to address concerns and modifications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
Two (2) years of experience as a Network Engineer, System Administrator, System Engineer, or a closely related occupation
Two (2) years experience in network engineering, network security, system performance optimization, LAN/WAN management, and network hardware
Two (2) years experience in computer networks, systems administration, and security protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Two (2) years of programming languages and shell scripting to include PowerShell, DOS, C, C#, SQL
Certification in Azure Solutions Architect
