About The Position

Maintains the server, network, and security infrastructure supporting mission-critical and standard systems. Provides on-site system and network support during business hours and remote/on-call support after hours. Supports infrastructure for mission-critical systems including CAD, LERMS, Jail, Mobile, and TIME System, as well as standard systems including ERP, Office 365, scheduling, evidence, fleet, and others. Performs workstation setup, OS installation, patching, antivirus, and break/fix. Administers Microsoft and Linux servers, updates, permissions, and security. Provides 24x7 network monitoring, firewall management, VPN, antivirus, and connectivity. Supports backup and recovery operations and network-dependent system interfaces. Assists with annual inventory and lifecycle management and supports helpdesk escalations and ticket resolution. Implements cybersecurity controls, MFA, and CJIS compliance. Responds to Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents within required timeframes.

  • 3–5 years of experience in systems and network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms.
  • Ability to support 24/7 environments and respond to Priority 1/2 incidents.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting public safety systems (CAD, 911, LERMS).
  • Familiarity with CJIS Security Policy.
