About The Position

Bowhead seeks a Systems/Network Administrator, Master to support the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services -Restricted (HITS-R) contract in San Diego, CA. Bowhead provides the HPCMP with technical and professional support for operating the HPCMP Office (HPCMPO) throughout mission planning and execution. Support includes technical and administrative assistance across program activities, program management support, meeting facilities and office environment, telecommunications and computer systems capabilities, and logistical services.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or another related field; a combination of experience and education may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Six or more years of relevant technical experience.
• Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must currently hold a Top Secret security clearance; may be required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required for Top Secret clearance at this location.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems, or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor the network to ensure availability to system users and perform necessary maintenance to support availability.
• Monitor and test website performance to ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption, as needed.
• Assist with network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software, as needed.
• May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• May administer network security measures.
