Systems Integration Engineer (Experienced or Lead)
About The Position
The Boeing Company is hiring Experienced (Level 3) and Lead (Level 4) Systems Integration Engineers for Government Training Engineering, with work locations in Hazelwood or Berkeley, Missouri. The role supports Government Training products across Air Dominance, Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers, and Vertical Lift portfolios, including products such as F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25, F-47, P-8, and Apache. The engineer leads or supports hardware and software integration for training devices, coordinates across engineering disciplines, develops integration plans and procedures, prepares software load images, integrates device systems and subsystems, troubleshoots issues, and supports formal testing. The work also includes device buildup, integration, and testing for final delivery at a customer site. Systems may include computational, networking, visual, communication, and power systems. The position is 100% onsite at one of the listed Missouri locations, with up to 10% domestic and/or international travel depending on business needs. It requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship; special program access or other Government access requirements are also mandatory. Boeing does not sponsor employment visas. Relocation may be offered based on candidate eligibility. The role is on Shift 1 and is not contingent upon a program award.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science; the posting also states Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, including system integration.
- Experience with at least one of the following: hardware/software integration, file servers, computational systems, networking systems, visual systems, Windows and/or Linux operating systems, or scripting.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. A clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory.
- Ability to work 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.

Nice To Haves
- For Level 4: 5 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience.
- Leadership experience, including engineering leadership roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success.
- System integration experience with operating system installation.
- System integration experience with BIOS definition and setup.
- System integration experience with network switch configuration and domain setup.
- Product security and/or cybersecurity compliance experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support hardware/software integration activities.
- Coordinate efforts among multiple engineering disciplines, including software, hardware, and mission assurance.
- Develop System Integration Plans and Integration Procedures.
- Develop software load images for installation onto training devices.
- Integrate multiple systems and subsystems that make up a complete training device.
- Troubleshoot issues regarding training devices.
- Support formal testing events.
- Perform buildup, integration, and testing of training devices for final delivery at the customer's site.
