About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a hands-on Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support a government customer in a hardware-intensive, mission-focused environment. The role involves testing, validating, documenting, and supporting software integrated with systems that include sensors, effectors, network equipment, communication radios, and edge computing devices. The engineer works directly with mission users and developers to help ensure reliable system performance in operational contexts. The position is located onsite at a customer facility in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and may require travel for field events or mission activities up to 20% of the time. The engineer performs functional, end-to-end integration, regression, and fault-tolerance testing using real hardware. Responsibilities also include testing software with AI/ML-enabled features, preparing structured and repeatable test documentation, maintaining technical documentation, using DevSecOps tools, and contributing to or reviewing merge requests when appropriate. The role works closely with developers, MBSE modelers, field service representatives, and mission users to reproduce issues and validate fixes. The successful candidate works independently with the government client and communicates technical findings clearly to cross-functional teams and users.
